Meet Makena, a senior at Lapel High School and one of my 2018 Senior Models! I absolutely love shooting with Makena, wether it’s a themed mini session or a full 2 hour shoot, she’s always amazing to work with! Her individual senior portrait session took place in downtown Pendleton, one of my favorite places to shoot!
I always encourage my clients to bring a variety of outfits and Makena did just that…from edgy to fun and summery, she pulled off every look with ease! During her session we found some awesome new places to shoot and I had a ton of fun hanging out with her! She even brought along her BFF for part of her session, those besties are like 2 peas in a pod (check out a couple shots of them together at the bottom of this post)! Makena is such sweet girl and I know she has an amazing future ahead of her!
There is something so exciting about every senior portrait session I shoot! I love giving most of the creative freedom to the senior, only giving suggestions when needed. It’s so important that I showcase who YOU are, in this moment, so you can look back at your senior portraits and remember the amazing time you had and love your images, even 10 or 20 years down the road!
